The engine house crew has finished the ceiling in the northern part of the center stall (minus fire retardant and paint)

Wood sections of the ceiling finished. The rest of the ceiling will be metal.
Building a platform on top of one the ballast hoppers so we can work on the ceiling over the inspection pit.

It's a tin ceiling to reduce the risk of fire in the areas above the locomotive boilers. The WW&F lost their Wiscasset engine house (and part of their locomotive fleet) to fire, and we have tried to take measures to ensure that part of our history is never replicated.

Locomotives 9,10, and 11 and possibly others are sure going to be happy in that building. I am sure Fred Morse has asmile on his face looking ddown at his namesake roundhouse. TM who likes the WW&F Railway museum

ML&M 11 and WW&F 9 in the engine house. Stalls 2 and 3 are finished and we just have to put the ceiling in stall 1 over the pit.
