The stump location in kind of like the cell phone commercial. Way, way way, way, way out there

I'm stumped where that might be, but let's not go there.

Couldn't make it today, but I plan to be up next Saturday.  Glad to hear there was a big turnout today.
We want...A SHRUBBERY!  One that looks nice, and not too expensive.

Just for comparison, the high temperature here in Metro Denver was 65*. That is NOT a typo.

Ya know when you've been through a Mid-Atlantic Nor-Easter when you have more snow in PA than in Maine!  27.5" officially in my area and drifts on the local roads in excess of 6 ft.  Can we ship some up North?

All saws are sharp and ready for Sat. It's supposed to be good weather.

We had a good clean up session this morning with students from Lincoln Academy helping organize the second floor of the shop.  Some material from the clean up, extra cardboard and a barrel of scrap wood is in the caboose for Saturday's burn pile.

Fred, we hope you and your hearty crew get many trees cleared while the away team is at the Big E Show.

Many trees cut, sounds better than, how much land did you clear? I'd like to say 5 trees to the Sq. Ft. in some places.

Anticipated work for weekend of Jan 30:

* Amherst Railway Society Train Show - at the Big E in West Springfield, MA, on Saturday and Sunday.  The legendary WW&F will again heroically man tables in the Young building, near the Heroes and Legends cafe.  This year we did not bring anything extra with us.

Meanwhile, back at the Museum...
* Tree cutting at ToM
* Boxcar 67
* #10 work

I'd expect a pretty light crew on Saturday in Maine.

Kubota engine block was returned to the museum today, and preparations started for reassembly. The new pistons were assembled, and the Continental got it's gas tank reinstalled. More work on that is needed because the copper line from the tank to the carb is a solid mass of gas. I plan on replacing the line and cleaning the carb on the next session.
