North Wall of Shop

Shop: Zack and Marcel have worked their way around the corner of the machine shop and are putting battens on the northern wall.

Huh? Are we putting battens over the T-111 on the north wall of shop? Purely for aesthetics?

Just on Bay 4 (Machine Shop) as plans call for another addition of 16 feet on the north end of the car shop Bays 1, 2 & 3)

The original plans for the machine shop was board and batten siding.  We just never got around to putting on the battens.  So on the northern wall, it transitions from T-111 to boards.

Don't be surprised to see the rest of the T-111 disappear before too long.

Took a couple of pictures with my phone of this. I believe they are done with the battens now. Just need a little paint.

Speaking of the 16' North extension, what is the timetable for this? It seems a much easier project than the south extension.

The timetable depends more on if we get another Webb Grant.  If we do then we probably would start sometime in the summer of next year.
