It's F&M coach 2 = SR&RL coach 21, built by Jackson & Sharp in April 1903 as the first half of an order of two cars. After the railroad shut down in 1935, the car body (sans trucks) was purchased from the scrappers by a local resident in Avon, ME and eventually found its way to Edaville after WWII.

The other car in the J&S order was F&M combine 3 = SR&RL combine 14, which is supposed to arrive at Sheepsot later this year.

BTW, what is the future purpose of the woods track after the new ramp/exhibition track is laid???

Bob, we need more storage track, but this will also serve as a ramp track, built with heavier rail to accomodate heavier equipment, and as a display track for a car to be placed we want seen. Plus it gave a place for the ditchings to go.

After the new ramp track is in service the woods track will be a staging and dead storage track.  We will lose the loading area on the runthrough track once the roundhouse is built, so the end of the woods track will serve for loading.  We will also store the rail crane behind the garage, and have an off system panel track for small 4 wheel carts- arranged such that the forklift can readily access both the panel track and the woods track.  Most of the time the woods track will be dormant, and thereby serve as a dead end track.  That will save an incredible amount of switching.

It might be worth considering a split rail derail on the Woods Track, similar to what's intended for the ML&M sidings.

The split wood has all been stacked. Got the lawn mower out and started, Got to clean the garage a little next then sharpen chain saw blades.

Thanking WWF for the this day, but unfortunately Barb and I cannot make it.  We are mulling over how to designate our spring donation.  There are so many excellent endeavors including archiving facility.  Thanks again!

Work train would be departing around 9, not 8.  Saturday is an e-waste collection day, so I'll be taking my 23-year old computer in, and maybe my 19-year old laptop too - so a late arrival at Sheepscot.
