Perhaps (probably) I have forgotten but what is the story on box car #50 sitting in the north yard?

MNG gifted B&SR 50 to us last year.  We subsequently traded it to ML&M for B&SR flat 34.  ML&M already owns and has restored B&SR box 51.  50 and 51 were both built by the B&SR in the 1880s; its fitting they are together.  We were considering building a flatcar from 50's parts so this seems a more well rounded solution, from a preservation standpoint.

Yes, it is on ML&M’s “list.”  Not sure of the schedule.

I know its more money and effort but I am happy to see a restoration versus a cannibalization.
