This year we're using the designations "red" and "yellow" (instead of a,b), in order to correspond with the red and yellow (free) tickets we'"" be issuing.  Tickets are being issued to assist with crowd control.  Red is steam (think fire) and yellow is diesel (think 5-gallon plastic diesel can).

Joe,  why do I believe that you watched Shining Time Station and Thomas when you were little?   I watched with my son and he's a railroader also..... :)

Now that were getting snow I think it's time to be getting burning permits to cut and burn brush. I think we have cleaned up the right of way as much as we can for this Fall.

Got a pile of scrapwood at Sheepscot we could get rid of. Lots of cleaning cod be done with a burn pile

Unfortunately we still have more brush cutting to do from MP 7 to ToM that NEEDS to be done for our January and February events.

Joe's right; the brush cutting is really important to help produce a successful photography event.  He's been doing a fabulous job of getting this done- but I'm sure he'd be encouraged by some help.

I'm in NY this week assisting with the preparation of our boiler parts.

Anticipated work for Saturday Dec 10.

* Board meeting Friday evening 4:30 until we get tired of talking
* ROW weed whacking
* Boxcar 67
* Fred's eager to get out and cut trees at TOM. 

With just 1 weekend left to Victorian Christmas, we'll probably have few volunteers on site.
