Honestly Matt, I don't like it.

I would prefer to see it restored/rebuilt to its in-service configuration. This would include the lettering "Standard Oil Company of New York" on its side. The flat could either be unlettered, lettered for the B&SR/B&H, or even the WW&F - although I would prefer whatever it looked like in-service.

That having been said, I will support however our BOD decides it should be lettered. Of course, we first need money and volunteers to make it happen.

Very likely the tank will be lettered SOCONY.  Probably the flatcar will be lettered for the WW&F.

Since the tank will be used for water, maybe it should be labeled SH2OCOA (Standard H2O (Water) Company of Alna)

Will the Tank be painted Sliver or will it be painted black like when that tank car was at Edaville?  ???

My sources show the car in service on the B&SR as silver with black lettering. That would be my preference.

Again, there is lots to do before that decision needs to be made.
