We are up to 112 now and still in 3rd, and need 150 or more to be #1.

We are now (unfortunately) out of the top 10 list.

Please encourage others who know of the WW&F to vote for us.

How about a postcard...sent out to the entire membership, with an explanation and the URL written out, asking for everyone to log on and vote...

I suspect some of our members are not very computer literate. That could effect vote totals.  Many elderly are very computer savvy, but others are not into them at all.  Probably the WW&F has far more older than younger members, and many of the former may not even use this forum.

We have over 1000 members, of which slightly over 100 are registered on this forum. Hoping to increase forum membership and to increase interest in the old newsletters, I ran an article in the latest (May/June) newsletter mentioning the forum and the availability thereon of back issues of the newsletter. In the month or so since that newsletter "hit the streets," there have been only four or five new forum registrants, and I don't know if any of them are members.

In short, roughly 90% of our members are not forum participants, and evidently unlikely to become so.

Only one or two of the latest forum registrants have been members.
Likewise, there are a large number forum registrants that are not members. (If you are one of those, and you are reading this message - please consider joining!)

Also, remember that you do not need to register to read most of the topics on this forum - only to post replies and start new discussions. I suspect that there are some members and non-members who are "lurkers" that read this forum, but are not compelled to participate further. (That's fine too, and they are just as welcome.)

The winning organization in June got well over 1000 votes, so I've resigned to the fact it's likely we won't garner enough votes.
