I'm happy to announce that Ed Lecuyer, heretofore the assistant moderator, has been promoted by mutual consent to be the primary moderator on this forum.  I have demoted myself to the role of assistant.  Ed's doing all the work anyway, so he should reap the benefits.

His salary has been doubled and the health, retirement, and other benefits that come with the job have been given as well!
