I use IE 8 x64-bit.

Maybe if it is not working for you please post in this thread:
1. What Operating System you are using.
2. What Browser you are using.
3. What version of the browser.
4. The exact sequence of events you get when attempting to open the chat room, including any error messages.

For example (in my case):
1. Windows 7 x64
2. Internet Explorer x64
3. 8.0.7600
4. Chat works for me - no errors.

Windows 7 - 64 bit
I.E. 8 Version 8.0.7600.16385

I don't get an error message, when I click on the Chat button, it just takes me to the home page again.

Win XP and Firefox 3 for me - and it does work.

Also works on Ubuntu 10.04 and Firefox 3.

Here's an idea - for those of you with chat problems, can you view videos on Youtube?  Both make use of Flash.  Until recently I could not see Youtube videos (although most of the chat worked for me), but then I reinstalled Flash and got it to work.

Click chat.  Chat URL goes into address bar.  Address bar changes (on its own) to forum home page (forum.wwfry.org), and browser goes there.  No errors noted.

Youtube works fine for me....but I still cannot access the Chat page here on the forum.

YouTube usually works for me, but the chat board isn't working right now.

I'm using IE 10.4.11 on an eMac.

The chat doesn't work on either Safari or Firefox.

My work PC is running Windows XP Service Pack 3, Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 128 bit and I get a bounce back to the Forum. I still get the same thing on my iMac at home.

Ok. So we know it isn't browser or OS dependant. What about virus protection or other Firewall software/hardware. I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials. What is everyone else using?
