This is to notify all train-qualified crews (brakeman in training on up to conductor and engineer) of the spring rules review meetings. Attendance of at least one is mandatory, else those missing will lose their qualifications until they get a rules review.
The meeting dates are: Saturday March 26, April 30, and May 14 (the May 14 date is a change from the newsletter's date of the 21st). All meetings start at 1 PM.
Things will be a little different this time. Part of the afternoon will be spent learning emergency procedures from someone from the Alna Fire Department. This is to better enable operating crews to deal with medical or train emergencies. The emergency training will be mandatory for conductors, and elective for everyone else.
