2010 Victorian Christmas

Is there a set date for the Christmas event? I would like to bring my wife up to Maine to show her where I have been enjoying my spring and fall weekends.

Like Bruce, I am hoping to attend the event as well. What are the hours for Victorian Christmas and will anyone be at the museum a bit early? I have some "gifts" for the museum that I plan to bring that day as well.

Victorian Christmas is 11 - 5 with the horses and Santa at AC from 12 - 4.  A number of people show up between 7 and 8 in the morning, so unless you plan to show up at 5 AM, there should be someone there.

Thanks James. I do not expect to be there quite that early. Possibly 9 or 10 but not likely any earlier.

Approximately 5 inches of snow fell yesterday.  This should mean a white Victorian Christmas.

Yes, There is 5 - 6" of snow at Sheepscot.  If it stays, the horses will be able to pull the sleigh at AC instead of the wagon.  We'll have to clean switches and switch the yard Saturday to get the plow on #52.  The forecast shows temps will stay well below freezing into next week so we may have to plow the main this weekend.

On the Poster for the Victorian Christmas, there is an 'olidays' below the "...mas".
Anyone care to fix or clarify what an "olidays" is?
Or am I just being too Scroogily?

I knew there was a reason I was thinking of putting the plow on last weekend. It is expected to warm into the 40's early next week but I won't expect it. This is Maine after all and if you don't like the weather, just wait. It wil change.

Gee Gordon, it appears your eyes are going bad or your missing some pixels on your monitor.  It says, "Holidays".   LOL

I agree with Gordon. My pdf also said "olidays". I dismissed it as some sort of error introduced in the pdf process or by my browser (Firefox). I just checked in the process of composing this message, and sure enough it is OK in Explorer. Microsoft can't be wrong all the time.

Hmmmm, there is a randomness in how Firefox 3.6.8 shows this .pdf. Sometimes everything is there, sometimes not.
 
I think we should just stick to magneto phones and hand waving.
