Where the flues start...
Just to be a litttle bit nit picky.    Technically No. 10, as a saturated locomotive does nt have flues. It has boiler tubes. Superheated locomotives have large i.d. flues into which the super heater elements go.
Just a fun fact.
Keith

Were any of the main two engines superheated? I can't recall.

I am glad to see some more work on the new boiler for the #10; she was the first museum owned locomotive I ever rode at the museum.
And much effort has gone into her in the past. She deserves the new boiler which will give her several years of operation at the museum.
It will be wonderful to see two WW&F steam locos in operration a few years from now!

Couldn't help but notice the pink flamingo in your photo Mike. I remember when Zack "flocked" all of Sheepscot with those birds one morning. Glad to see one stuck around...
