It is my intention to do a coal brick making project during our Spring work end. It is a job I can do from my scooter. I'll bring the molds and gloves appropriate for the task. Now, if someone at the museum can collect a couple buckets of saw dust and a bag of cement, we'll be all set. I am also looking into a coal briquette machine.
The formula is quite simple. 6 Parts coal dust, 1 part saw dust (optional), 1/4 part cement and enough water to mix. Then you put the mix in a mold to shape it, un-mold and set to dry.
Approximately how many pounds of coal dust and fines do we generate annually?
