Looks great. I might be going there when Prince is back in steam. Does the train Oscillate like our two-footers? I know I've firsthand experienced what Linwood Moody was talking about in his book.

After our 2007 visit I purchased a DVD which has both the up and down trips from the front of the train.  Then I purchased the "2007 Year in the Life" DVD of the Ffestiniog, and it has at the back a greatly compressed version of the up trip in 3 minutes.

I actually bought the 2007 Year in the Life hoping I might catch a glimpse of us American visitors during their 175th Anniversary Celebration - and I did!  Actually the picture was from Saturday, when my father-in-law and I were taking pictures at Harbour Station.  All they catch are our backsides as we watch the train leave.
