Trains aren't the only things to pan, here's a beautifully restored Ryan PT-22 Army trainer I shot taking off in Mt Morris, IL.

Great shot Steve! I love the old WWII planes. How about a P-38 Lightning or P-51 Mustang next time?

In the Army, a P-38 is a can opener. Probably would work to get you out of a tight spot in a plane too.

Actually the PT-22 is pre-WWII, late thirties.  First with "Wasp" radial engine.  Wish I had one.....

Mike, you're right also - still have one of those marvelous can openers in my collection from the good 'ol days in the military.  Used to wear it as part of my dogtag chain.
