Utica, Chenango and Susquehanna Valley RR

If there is anyone out there looking for a place to run their narrow gauge railroad equipment, there is an opportunity waiting for you! Ben Gottfried of Richfield Springs, NY has recently acquired the old DL&W "Richfield Springs" branch, which was originally the Utica, Chenango and Susquehanna Valley RR.
Ben is open to suggestions for the development of his railroad right of way....and he would be very interested in narrow gauge and preferably steam power. You can read about the project at this web page.

That is a very pretty part of New York State, and it could be interesting!

True, nice area.... Come up - spend millions on developing a business and then watch NY state come in and tax the crap out of you just to put you back out of business.  That's why I left long ago and never ever thought about going back.
