Wish I had the time to stay up there for another day after dropping off castings from Cattail.  It would have been fun to be able to work on my favorite engine again.  Since I can't be there, I'll drop another donation for the #10 fund.  Keep up the good work guys,  #10 - Back in 2025 ???

I am putting this post here as well as the page Steve has set up for the Springfield show, but I am looking to put together a compilation of videos of #10 to show at Springfield. This year the #10 team intends to have a bigger presence at the show then last year. We plan to bring the smoke box front with the number plate, the bell and the headlight. Like last year we will have #10 number plate tokens and new for this year we plan to have #10 T-shirts. Along with all this we plan to bring small TV to present 10 in the past years, what she looked like, what she did, and more importantly her voice, so we can bring more hype to the return of an Alna icon.

If anyone has videos of 10 that they are willing to let us use, I'd greatly appreciate it. Quality does not matter. You can send them to me via Email.

Thank you
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Those scarfed temporary filler plates are works of art. Thanks to Mike Fox for consistently providing such interesting detailed photographic records of the outstanding preservation work being performed at the WW&F.

They are not temporary. To ensure a proper fit to the mud ring, the ends of the back head (on the bottom) and the end of the Throat Sheet had to be machined where they meet the mud ring.

Hi John,

These rivet flanges will be butt welded to the edges of the flanged throat sheet knuckles and radiographed in compliance with Section I.  This has made fit up significantly easier.

Thanks
Jason

Looks like you had a very productive Friday Jason.  Wish I could be there to help out, but in the meantime, I'll continue to send money for #10 and keep ferrying parts from the Foundry.
