This just in ... new products available as of today.

There are new shirts for sale in the gift shop.  Known as the "Heritage Style" shirt, it's the first new design denim shirt in 12 years.  The shirt features an embroidered WW&F in dark blue in an arch over a red chevron with RAILWAY spelled out underneath.  The design is based on the style of lettering that appeared on WW&F engine 4 when new.  The shirts sell for $39.95 plus tax.

Also from the heritage collection -  A new canvas tote bag.  The bag is light tan with dark blue base and straps.  The bag has a snap ring for keys and a velcrow gather at the top.  There is a card pocket on the front.  Just above the pocket are large letters WW&F embroidered in an arch with a red chevron underneath with RAILWAY spelled out.  The design is the same as the new shirt except the letters are a lot larger. The bag retails for $34.95 plus tax.

Ed L. took photos of the shirts and bag today so everyone will be able to see the new merchandise on the gift shop page.

Also just recently in:

* The new issue of Maine Two Foot Digest magazine.  This is a twice-yearly (I think) replacement of Maine Two Foot Quarterly magazine, by Gary Kohler/M2FQ Publications.
* From Peter Barney/BFI Publications: a Pictorial Guide to the B&SR tank cars, and more supplies of Pictorial Journey of the WW&F (Wiscasset) and the KC/Monson Railroads.

Coming soon: Narrow Gauge in the Sheepscot Valley Volume 3, which has been out of print for a couple of years.  Coming I hope really soon.

Aw. I'm dissapointed. The best photo of #4 I think, is when it was getting pulled out of Trout Brook. That's the pic that should be on the shirts. Lol.

Joe,  You spilled the beans.  That image of #4 will be on the special WW&F scuba division wet suit.

This just in ...

The fourth historic B&SR print arrived today.  The beautiful Winter scene features a train approaching the stone arch at Hancock Brook.  Seen from water level, the image highlights operations on one of the best known locations of the Bridgton line.  The print sells for $50 plus tax.

The Museum gift shop can now accept American Express cards.  Our card processor made this change without our asking.  Now we accept every major credit card.  I think we accept Diners Club too, although I'm not 100% certain of that.

High Rollers - welcome to Sheepscot!

"I think we accept Diners Club too" ... Does that mean we have to build a diner??!?   Can you see Fred in a tux with the white towel draped over his arm :o

Well, maybe not a diner -- yet. But a food cart might be nice.

Fred as a waiter? The orders would never get placed. He'd be too busy telling the customers about the railroad, or singing to them. ;D

The 2012 WW&F Railway calendars are in.  The newest edition features 13 full size panel images of the railroad and the last page has an additional set of smaller format photos, all from the camera of Stephen Hussar.  The photographs are beautiful in fact some are absolutely stunning.  Stephen is well known by fans of the WW&F.  He is a principal of Preservation Media, Inc., and is a Lighting Specialist and Cameraman shooting HD as well as film and stills for commercial, corporate and broadcasters including PBS, CBS, ESPN, National Geographic, the Discovery Channel and the History Channel.

The price (afaik) is $17 plus tax.  That's a great price for a beautiful photo album!

p.s.  You'll also learn a new word or two.
