The newsletter I got today was really informative.
You guys really outdid yourselves in the design for the expansion of the area. My hat's off. That isn't the same house Harry grew up in, is it?
Is there area for community-based things like arts and crafts shows, or is that a Southern thing?

Harry grew up somewhere in Weeks Mills and later Head Tide (about 4 miles north of Sheepscot).  Harry built the house himself in the 1990s.  The plot of land which is now 4 parcels (from e-w: the "corner lot", WW&F, Boudin parcel, and the Boudin houselot) used to belong all to Harry's parents.  His father broke it up into 3 pieces, with Harry's sisters getting the outer lots (the corner lot and what's now the Boudin lot), and Harry getting the middle.

The westernmost lot was eventually sold, and the bad-tempered fellow that we all grew to know and love moved in.  The corner lot is still owned by Harry's sister and her husband.

There's an area to put up tents, for like the picnic, but no real good place for indoor events.

Just to clarify, that fellow evidently lost the lot due to financial problems, and the property was purchased by a much, much more agreeable neighbor who sold us part of the land and has been very helpful to us.
