--- Quote ---Hi everyone,
Just a reminder that the MNGRR is holding its track weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 19th and 20th. We are having a cookout and volunteer appreciation party on Saturday.
Please come down if you can and lend a hand. We are laying a new runaround track, and if enough people show up, replacing selected ties and correcting the level of some of the track on the mainline.
Not to steal WW&F's guys, but we could really use some support from our friends up north!
best,
Mike Moulison
MNGRR Asst. Track Foreman

--- Quote ---How did the track laying weekend go Mike? I was unable to make it to the W, W, & F, and obviously the Maine Narrow Gauge last weekend. How many people showed up, and how much work did you guys get done?

--- Quote ---Hi Joe,
The weather kept our numbers down. Only about 10 guys showed up each day. We laid 120 feet of rail, and have the entire ROW cleanred, graded, and ready for ties.
Track work is to proceed at an accelerated pace this year. We are having a track work day Sunday June 10th.
all are welcome!

--- Quote ---I just wanted to apologize to Mike and our other friends at MNG concerning their track day on October 20th. Unfortunately that was the same day as our Halloween trains, so I doubt that anyone from the WW&F showed up at MNG. We were up to our eyeballs in work getting ready for the Halloween event.
