And tickets for Victorian Christmas (and Steam & Sleighs) are now on sale, using a new-to-us ticketing platform. This required an extensive overhaul to the website and much testing, etc. (And this is just the beginning of the process to move to a new web host and ticketing partner.)
Tickets are now available at: https://wwfry.org/all-activities/

I did not see the tree, although I was told there was one.  Kind of like Jason's duck.

I haven’t seen this “tree,” but there was most definitely a duck..

To that I will attest. You cannot make stuff like that up and look like he did upon crawling back up onto the Sammis grade.
Wanted: Copies of correspondence and photographs from "first generation narrow gage railfans" such as Linwood Moody, Dick Andrews, Lawrence Brown, Ellis Atwood, H.T. Crittenden and others. Interested in all two foot (U.S.) rail operations, common carrier, industrial/mill and park/museum.

So, you're saying if Dan shows up looking like he fought a grisly and covered in evergreen needles ... :D

The track work was at Humison but Bryce and I finished most of it on Tuesday. I would still like to ballast the track that we tamped, so if a small crew would like to help with that then that would be appreciated. I also have to switch cars around in order to prepare for Victorian Christmas and the winter shutdown. As well the Victorian Christmas consist has to get decorated at some point.

Will Bill, acting as "Solari Man" be providing appropriate sound effects? Here's a sample for those unfamiliar with these wonderful devices.
