What a find. This is super neat. Looks like they're planning on rebuilding the SR&RL 23 when they're done with the Forney, according to the locomotive page on their website.

The latest report on the Forney build shows the rear truck; not sure if it's swing-link motion or not, but a hefty truck none the less.

It looks to me to be non swing as there is no room for the bolster to swing nor are there ears for the links to go into.

I now know what to look for when we assemble #11's pony truck.  I wondered how the U-shaped steel piece worked.

I'm assuming ours has a few more rivets and a few less bolts.
