What are the "additional" repairs being made on 52 beyond the Fan blade assembly?

Jason has returned back to Maine after a quick vacation. He will be at the RR tomorrow (7/3) to assess the locomotive and determine the nature of the repairs necessary.

Cup holders?
Actually the engineers cup holder was installed in 52 when I was up there in June. Now we can train “El Presindente” to drive it.

The next four weekends will be very busy at the WW&F. If sales projections hold, and no trains are annulled, we are on track to net $15,000+ in ticket sales for the month of July. While it is not about the money, this revenue will go a long way to cover our operating expenses.

All help is needed over the next four weekends, from train crew, ground crew, tour guides, etc. It is much appreciated if everyone pitches in to keep the grounds safe and presentable. Parking will be at a premium, so please park thoughtfully.

Thanks!

3 more benches were delivered to the Pavilion this morning, making 7 new benches this year. A 1/2 increase in seating (went from 14 benches to 21)

Also on the same load was 3 benches for the Sheepscot platform. I have one more to build but did not have room for it on this load without scratching paint.. These benches are only temporary until something permanent is constructed. Then they can be moved to where ever needed..

Doing way too much to list...

The pavilion picture reminds me of some old photos of benches set for an old time Revivalist Sermon.

Steve:    Maybe Sunday specials for church meetings and picnics (long term move to Head Tide - when we get there)

All,
Brian W has informed me that all of the weed whacking implements of destruction are sharpened and ready to go for Saturday. He intends to hit Head Tide hard and welcomes any good looking, able-bodied persons to join him. Please show him what you are made of!

Any and all help would be appreciated. It is weather dependent, right now heavy rains & thunderstorms are predicted for Saturday morning. I plan to trim on Tuesdays too. But this heat is making it hard to put in a full day.
