We’ve had some interesting loads on our rails, from Stewart’s truck, to trusses for the pavilion, to this. A few more and there will be enough for a WW&F Ry Press book on “The Loads of the WW&F Ry”.
Very impressive!

I attempted to take a time-lapse video of the lift. I thought it would be a neat perspective.

Because I'm REALLY GOOD at my phone, what I actually did was take a slow-motion video. So if anyone wants to watch a 7-minute lift at 1/8th speed, just let me know...

I think it is called Elmer.  We should rename the little yellow crane car Cranky because it only works by cranking.

Thanks Dave, I knew it was something appropriate but in my dotage couldn't remember what it was.  Sometimes when I can't remember even I get cranky.

We'll save the cranky names for the phone service. They make all the crank calls..

The old Sheepscot shelter was shipped to Top of the Mountain this afternoon.

Using the big forklift to lower the shelter down further on the flatcar. The shelter was left 8 inches higher on the car the day we craned the shelter onto the car to pull the lifting beams out from underneath.

Moving the cars from the end of the mainline into the yard to assemble the train.

Stopped before Brook Crossing to check the track level in the curve.

Coming through Sutters.

Cockeye curve.

The station will sit just about where the open car is on the main.

Fantastic photos! Seeing how smoothly the trip went, maybe the shelter should be left on the flatcar for overflow passenger accommodations, but only if the wind's blowing from the west.
