Wednesday also:
* X-Over Switch repaired and installed at ToM. (Jay, Steve P, Dan, Jason)
* Inspection of the SS Platform; Solutions discussed. (Jason, Brendan)

The media event was filming for a segment within an upcoming show on Wiscasset area attractions by a Boston-based evening newsmagazine. Hosted by Dave B & Steve P., they interviewed several volunteers, including Paul (model T), Zack, Eric, and probably others. They took the train to ToM where they met SeaLyon Farm and rode Linda Verney's horsewagon to the lavender fields. More details will be released once we know when it will be aired.

Jay Barta made the actual repair of the stand in the shop.  Dan and Steve P removed the stand Tuesday for repair; Dan and I reinstalled it yesterday after repair.

Thanks
Jason

Work done on Saturday June 25 (the day was hot and a bit humid):

* Trout Brook Station: Added several boards.
* Tie & Dine: crew worked from Alna Center north.
* Telephone line work: Mike was working to bury the line through Albee's Field, and getting stuck in mud.  Later in a day, John M with some minions were going to do some line work.
* Car barn: Pete was cleaning Christmas items off one of the coaches, and working on cleaning/organizing the SR&RL combine for use as a mobile gift shop later this summer.
* Machine shop: Alan was milling the rear frame casting.
* Boxcar 56: Marcel "installed" the west side windows.

Dan and crew has arrived at AC

A small part of the crew removing ballast ahead of the actual tie changing. Several of these small teams worked along the line doing specific tasks.

A new warning sign by the ditch..

Got the slop covered.

Brendan and Ron mounting a control panel to the newly acquired lathe milling machine.

56.. About ready for some Kilz on the knots Marcel says.

Brendan and Ron are working on a milling machine, not a lathe.

Looks like Dan had a good turn out on an extremely hot day.
