The lining is very similar to that used by British Railways for its mixed traffic steam locomotives in the 1950s.
Maybe they should have gone the whole hog and applied the BR 'cycling lion' emblem to the saddle tank...

Iterestingly, it has the same striping pattern as "Donald & Douglass" from the Thomas The Tank Engine show.
