Fred wanted to get the turntable girders stored on the right of way across the street from the railroad up out of the mud. Thursday morning we used the loader to pick up one end of the girders at a time and pull the girders up onto higher ground.

I'm glad to see the turntable girders receiving some attention.

How can anyone in North America not know what a whoopie pie is?

It's regional, like pop/soda/coke. In W. PA, the usual term is "gob".

What did the snake look like? I couldn't have been poisonous unless it was a garter snake. But then I don't live in Maine so what do I know.

Just a regular garden snake. Not poisonous, and not very responsive because it was cold..

Any snakes Mike finds today should be even less responsive than last Saturday, as it will be colder.

*  New metal blue flag signals, made and placed on Machine shop leads  (Leon and grandson)
