Rail supports bolted down in the pit and the rail laid down on the supports.

The roof got a layer of plywood followed by a layer of ice and water shield. Metal roofing is being ordered for the building this week.

Windows and doors going in on the west side.

Shingles being put on above the doors.

Turntable from the roof.

Thanks for the great photos, Brendan. Glad to see the roof is getting finished. And the windows do make a big difference in the appearance of the building. Now for the doors!

I'm glad Brendan's photos don't show all the wrinkles in the tarpaper!

I'd say the Sheepscot crew had a very successful weekend. The enginehouse is looking great.

Great progress on the roof as well as the start on the shingles above the door openings.  Will there be shingles on the faces of the posts, or will they be left bare?  I ask, only because I see some tarpaper overhanging the front face of the west corner post.

I put tarpaper over the posts not knowing if it was required or not.

Does the Fred come with the kit or is that optional?

The posts get covered with trim boards. The middle two posts have trim on them at the top.

I saw yesterday, the 10th, that the west and north windows were in, but not the east ones.
Start was starting to shingle the west wall.
Compliments to Brendan and the rest of the crew for excellent work!

A couple of Tuesday photos of shingling the west wall.

Fred Morse working on the left, as Stewart Rhine works on the staging on the right.

Paul Richard assists Stewart.
