Well done, at this rate you'll be definetely ready before it starts snowing and so you' ll be able to shelter  rolling stock and others pieces of equipment to make room in the shop.

An up-coming part of the roof work is the design, construction and placement of the 3 smoke jacks. The jacks are an integral part of each stall and special framing may be needed where they are installed.

Over the work weekend all the fascia boards and soffits were completed around the building. The exterior casing was put on the windows.














Track crew working on the pit rails Monday.

The smoke jacks will be steel pipe through the roof with fabricated sheetmetal hoods.

That's a pretty dramatic photo!  Good use of shadow.

I think standing it's Steve Leet, Jay Barta, and Steve Lennox.  I can't figure out the sitter is on the left, but the sitter on the right looks like it might be Randy.  Am I right?

(Normally I'd say one of the sitters would be Fred supervising, but I doubt Fred wanted to get on the roof)

The people sitting on the roof is yes Randy on the right and Brian Whitney on the left. Working the ground handling material and clean up was Fred and Paul Richard.
