          How about an update about the Engine House? It has been since April 11 that anything was posted here. Such a wonderful project!

Not much to report - we're waiting on lumber.

All the roof framing was finished on stall 3 and most of the roof sheathing over stall 3 is complete.









New window openings were framed in the back wall of stall 2 and the office was framed in.





The door header was put up at the back of stall 1 and the wall sheathed.

In the what goes on behind the scenes for the away crowd department.  Brendon had to run all those rough saw cut roof deck boards thru the new large planer so they would be the same thickness.  That way there would not be steps between some of the boards which would increase the possibility of roof leaks.

 I wonder if Brendon ran the boards through the planner S/1 or S/2 ? Really only necessary to make one pass to make all board the same thickness.
