I forgot about the boxcar 56 work.  I'm sure that will be happening.

Work needed on Saturday 1/16:
Volunteer(s) needed to clean up and tidy the Sheepscot station house for Saturday night's photo session. Non-historic items should be placed elsewhere or hidden.

Work done on Saturday Jan 16:

* Lerro photo charter: the charter left town about an hour before the rain started.  They came back for lunch and most of them went out again in the afternoon.  A few folks that have never been here before.
* Boxcar 56: Marcel removed the needle beams and the bolts holding them.  He then started cutting wood to dimensions (sorry, don't know what he was crafting).
* Loader: Mike was working on putting things back on the front end loader.

I'm a little confused by the sentence that says they left town, followed by "they came back for lunch," followed by "went out again in the afternoon." Did they get rained on while at the WW&F?

"Did they get rained on".  You might say that.  We had heavy rain and gusty winds for most of the day today.  The charter left SS before the rains came, and some of the attendees decided to sit out the afternoon.

Last week, Steve Lennox led a crew to put the recently completed steam engine (replaced the skids, also led by him) and #9s old boiler onto flat 118 for this past weekends photo charter.

The combined weight of these 2 pieces is about 12,000 pounds.

Since there is no public trains Saturday, I would like to clean up around the wagon and sleigh loop I made at TOM 2 years ago. I did a very quick job, pushing trees over with the dozer. They should be plenty dry enough to quickly burn. I would like to pretty that up.

We could also have a second fire continuing where we were 2 weeks ago, cleaning up that mess some more. Supposed to be a nice day, just a little breezy.

Work completed Tuesday/Wednesday 19-20 January 2021.

Tuesday:
*  The Stationary Steam Engine was manipulated, pushed, shoved,
swore at and finally placed at rest inside box car #67.
*  Vehicle repairs included more work on the (Fred’s) Tractor,
the Front End Loader, Tires replaced on the Back Hoe and
    the Ford Tractor.
*  Shop work included Vacuum Brake parts and Alan we believe
doing computer work for the new Lathe.
*  “Start” was about the campus doing various projects and
    clean up.

Wednesday:
*  In the south end of Machine shop bay #1, the boiler and
major steam related parts were moved to the new container.
This allows more work room in the shop area, the parts can be
easily retrieved when they are ready to be worked on.
*  Vehicle repair, Brenden was working on the tractor.
*  Jonathan was working on Vacuum Brakes.
*  Randy was bouncing around helping everyone.
*  Campus clean up and dump was on going.

Here is what Steve is talking about when we manipulated.. I think we were manipulated. He forgot to mention the shoe horn.. Some call it a Husqvarna.

And one from Wednesday he sent me.
