Lincoln County New article on WW&F
« on: July 09, 2020, 10:40:18 AM »
This week's edition of the Lincoln County News has a front page, above the fold article on the Museum.  I can't find it on the LCN's website, so you may need to buy the paper.

I hear at least one person asked for Dave's autograph following publication of the article.
What–me worry?

In general the article does a nice job with capturing the spirit of the Museum in these trying times. Basically, come hell or high water, we've got a railroad to build (but we'll do it safely according to all good sense and provided guidelines). There are a few details which those of us close to the ng will recognize as misunderstandings but with so much going on, its easy to see how someone could arrive at those.

The reporter did spell both my last name and Dave's correctly, which I consider a win!

Unfortunately, I believe I'm outside their circulation range. 8)

Thanks for posting the link, Bill. Interesting article, one of the longer ones written in the newspaper.

Very nice article, but there's a small laundry list of little corrections needed (ex: Coach 3 on the side of a picture is stated as owned by MNG when I think they meant to mention that the Mt Pleasant, which is in the center of the shot, is the MNG coach) but other than that it's great.

Besides the above mentioned #3, what’s locomotive #6? Also who is # 10 leased from. We all know the answers. It is a good article otherwise!
