Dragging this thread back to the trunk line....
Work done on Saturday July 18:
* Ballasting: 3 cars unloaded in the morning by a crew of around 15, I think. We finished up the unballasted sections south of the bridge.
* Car barn: Stewart was painting on the doors.
* Pavilion: Jeff Verney dug Mike some holes.
* Yard track work: Steve P led a crew that found the unspiked tie under the Bay 4 joint into the car shop. Then a really bad tie was replaced on the run-around track.
* Machine shop: I saw Carlos and Jerry in, but didn't catch on what they were doing.
* Tank car: the donor who gave the money to restore Tank car 14 was at the Museum for a short ceremony for the plaque denoting his effort in memory of his father.
