Has anyone else been to Wales West Light Railway in Silverhill, AL?  It is located in a campground and has a steam loco as well as a Simplex diesel, both built across the pond.  It runs on a 1 mile loop. There is also a 7.5" line there as well.  The railway is run by volunteers who are eager to talk about it and show you everything up close, especially if they are not running that day.

Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Dame Ann, the steam loco, was built in 2004 by the Stirlands at the Exmoor Steam Railway Centre, Bratton Fleming, Devon to the same design as the Hunslet locos used in the North Wales slate quarries – there were various sizes, and Dame Ann appears to be one of the 'small quarry' variety.
