Covid19
« on: April 06, 2020, 09:19:51 PM »
Word has it that emergency beds will be placed in the car shop for the duration of this epidemic. Any truth to that?  Seriously, once (or if) the world comes back, will anyone have any money to visit tourist sites?  Could impact the WW&F this year.

I think fear and lack of money will impact travel until next year. I'm calling this epidemic " The Great Pause" as it's a pause in our usual routines no mater what our life was like before it.

I think that after folks have had to confine themselves to their homes, that once things improve they will be itching to get out. Possibly local folks will visit the museum instead of taking an expensive vacation to a far off locale.

The Great Pause is good.  Down in my area folks are already referring to this as "The Lost Year".  My grandkids are already being told that the rest of the semester will be via "Virtual Classroom" and schools may not reopen for students until Thanksgiving.
