Building an Empire

I had to clean out a few things, and had the opportunity to line up the start of what may eventually be a tinplate/Lionel style model railroad.

I'm not sure where I draw my inspiration from...

Where did you find the O gauge tinplate Porter? I've always wanted one of those! :)

It's a K-Line product; they come up on eBay pretty regularly. Search for K-Line Porter and it will come up. The Raritan Copper Works road name is not common, but the prototype was 30" gauge, if I recall.

(And a SP Daylight set, just because.)
