Anticipated work for Saturday Feb 29:

* Pavilion
* Car barn extension
* Coach 9
* Machine shop squeeze riveter refurb

The snow is disappearing fast, mud season appears to be upon us.

Don't forget the two most important seasons.  the SWW is somewhere at the start of Black Flies season and the FWW is somewhere before the Winter Season.

Work done on Saturday Feb 28 29.  I left before noon so I'll report what I know:

* Loco 9 and 3 were switched positions in the shop and 9 was rotated.  MNG crews showed up to prep their engines for State boiler inspection this coming week.
* Carlos and Jerry were working on the squeeze riveter.
* Dan and Bryce fired up the forge to work on something for the vacuum brakes.
* Linda had me do some inventory recounting upstairs.

I was supposed to help Mike and Fred at the Pavilion but never made it due to multiple distractions.

"Work" also included a very impressive off-site presentation by a ticketing/web/marketing provider.

And in the foreground a sneak peak at the vacuum brake controller.   :)

I looked right at it while I was catching up with Alan and Jerry and it never even clicked. I should have taken a photo of that progress.

This afternoon we unloaded the logs from the flatcar used on the "photo shoot" and got the woodspliter out from behind some heavy machinery.

By “helping” Fred means “supervising” from his chair
