Mowing 4 feet from the rail has been done years passed with ROWMOW 1. This year, with the Brookeville being down, made using it near impossible. 52 goes too fast, then you have to ride the brakes, which causes more wear, etc. When the Brookeville comes back on line, we can still use ROWMOW.
The bush hog will work best along Albees field, TOM, behind the station in Sheepscot, and a few other places along the line where it is flat and safe enough to use it. Slopes are better off with something on an arm, like the sickle bar mower we have fot the Kubota.
