I just go to the Forum regularly so that notifications would be pointless...

I, like Bob, go to the forum daily, or sometimes several time a day to get my Sheepscot fix.  Perhaps I don't have enough to do when I am not in Maine.

Have you checked the SPAM file?

I have had trouble with other e-mail and found stuff there.

I check here several times a day, so I don't use notifications.  Like Carl said - check your SPAM folder.  I often find legitimate email there.

I do check here most days....but I would like for the notification system to work.
For me...it does not.
I have checked my spam folder and nothing shows up there, at least nothing from this list. Plenty of other garbage finds its way there!

Another thought on this:  it's a VERY RARE DAY that there are no postings (plural)!  So I'm not sure what purpose the notifications serve.  Perhaps someone can explain?

Thanks.

The purpose is to let me know if somebody promptly replies to a posting of mine. This would allow me to answer instantly while that person is still on the web site.
The forum no longer has a chat room and notifications would allow a rapid means of communication.
