Latest news from the L&B's shops
« on: September 13, 2018, 03:36:00 PM »
The Lynton & Barnstable has built several passenger carriages at a site some miles from the railway. Their previous location had more space than the current shop, so they decided to experiment with prefabricating various parts for the newest car. Perhaps we can learn some things from their experience. Here are some photos of their work thus far:

All of the L&B heavy coach construction and restoration is done off-site....

The L&B's East Anglia Support Team (EAST) are busy restoring L&B heritage vehicles at Friday Wood Farm, Colchester.

Not just coaches, but they are building the next two Steam Engines remotely....

The plan is for ‘YEO’ is to be built in North Derbyshire and ‘EXE’ at Boston Lodge.
