October 27th Work Party
« on: October 14, 2018, 11:25:19 AM »
I have gotten the ok, so here it goes.

We are going to do a Mountain Extension clean up/tree cutting on October 27th.

We plan on renting a large wood chipper, and using the museums smaller one for small branches.

The intent is to clean up all previously cut wood loading it on a flat car and chip the brush, and perhaps cut more if we have time.

Wood chippers are loud, so if you have hearing protection you like, bring it with you. Otherwise, some will be available. Eye protection is also advisable, and we don't have a huge supply of them.

Also, the 27th is the first day of Deer Hunting, so an orange hat or vest is also encouraged.

Mike,
I am glad to her that you are going to do some right of way clean-up. As I said in my other post, I was worried about fire danger. Good job next week!

Ted Miles, far away but very interested!
