Hi Joe ! Thank you so much for that very very interesting slide show that greatly helps the away crowd to understand all the amazing work that has been doing on the bridge and the ROW since last Fall by the dedicated regular volunteers. I really appreciate that you have placed side by side photos of the works and the ROW map with arrows. I'll take advantage of this reply to thank the many that spent quite a lot of their precious time on taking photos and uploading them on the forum or Fb to keep the mere and distant onlooker like me posted.Bravo you all again!

Thank you everyone. I hope to put the presentation onto a dvd once the bridge is in place. Once I upload the finql copy with background music I will share it all over the place.

A minor critique, Joe. Some of the pauses between slide changes are too short to read the caption material and connect the photo to the arrow on the map.

Some of us read REALLY slow - a little longer will be nice, but since you
don't want to make a 20 min show out of a 4 min. presentation I use the
pause button.

And thanks for putting it together.

I love the idea of simultaneously presenting the map (with arrow) along with the location photos. It really helps. :D

That is great. We really need that to help keep our members up to date on our progress. I also like the split map feature. Very cool.

I have created a separate thread for the new version of the video, and you can find that page under Museum Discussion. Here is a link to the final video.

Am assuming Pinch Point retaining wall will be just elaborate enough to stabilize the roadbed close to Trout Brook, possibly be finished next weekend?

Piledriving is moving right along. Approach spans cribbing is next?

You remember how Rose Anne Rosannadanna used to comment/rant on SNL Weekend News..."IF IT AINT ONE THING, IT'S ANOTHER !!"  ::) :'(
Gilda Radner, bless her,  was fabulously funny.  ;D

The wall should work fine, even though you're working with two hundred?-pound blocks.
