I meant to contact some of y'all when I got home but I've been playing catch-up both at work (NEVER let a newspaper Publisher or Editor do ads!) and at "my" railroad. Sorry about that.

First and foremost, thanks to everybody up there for showing us Southerners such a good time. Y'all really made our vacation with your hospitality and information. It was truly one of the most enjoyable vacations I've taken in a long time.

I shot 624 photos during the trip, nearly 2 gigabytes. The WW&F features rather prominently since we were there longer than anywhere else. I've pruned them down by deleting the real junky ones, and stuck them in my online photo gallery. Feel free to look through them and use them for WW&F publicity, newsletters, etc. if you think any are good enough (just give me a credit line). I haven't emailed them to the folks I promised to send them to because there are just so darned many. Any pix that any of y'all would like high-res files for, just drop me a PM or email.

Here are links to my favs:

Again, thanks for the Yankee hospitality. Please come South sometime so I can return the favor by introducing y'all to kudzu, fire ants, sweet tea and grits.

Hi Matt,
My name is Joe. I wasn't at the museum when you guys were up because I was at Railcamp, or with my Grandma. I am 16 and am a track worker, and brakemen at the W, W, & F. I find it a lot of fun. Your photos are great. Do you have any of the South Carolina Railroad museum, and some more good shots of the W, W, & F. If so please email them to me. Just click on the email button at the bottom of this post. Talk to you later.
