I have been following this development since it was announced. It ranks up there with the Como project to my way of thinking. The photos showing up on-line have been wonderful!

Actually, Laws is in CA, while Como is in CO.

Actually, it is in Laws California.
Causing confusion is that the railroad was once called the Carson and Colorado - but later was absorbed by the Southern Pacific.

Everyone is raving about the restoration of one of the surviving SP locomotives; specifically its first visit "home" to Laws, California, where there is a small museum on the original ROW. Lots of photos and discussion on the
