I believe the Edaville Shop did some good woodwork; but did not build any passenger car trucks.

I've seen at least one passenger truck in Sheepscot with Edaville markings, I think replicating a Jackson & Sharp truck.  Others who know better will correct me if I'm mistaken on the source of Edaville's inspiration.
What–me worry?

The WW&F used the old Edaville patterns for the new trucks. I hauled them to Cattail Foundry from Maine. As I understand it, the new pair of J&S trucks will go under Coach No. 9, and the rebuilt old trucks will go under the ML&M's Franklin & Megantic coach.

Today it was announced that the Coach #9 is on shop trucks so it can move to Shop Bay #3 for exterior paint. Why is this move necessary? Can it be painted in place?

One reason is so that MNG 7 can be moved into the shop so that it's in a heated space for Steam & Sleigh operations in February.

I don't know that Coach 9 will be getting exterior paint right away.  I think they'll be working on the interior of the car quite a bit in the next few months.

Boxcar 56 is in bay 3 and will remain until complete.  Coach 9 has been in shop bay 2 and will move to bay 4 indefinitely.  As they move into finer interior work, being near the wood working tools in bay 4 will be helpful.

9 and 10 will move into bay 2 for now, where some preparatory work will occur on no 10, and no 9 will be housed for the duration of February Steam & Sleighs operations.  Bay 1 will host the rail car and locomotive 7.

Following S&S, loco 7 will be winterized and placed back in the car barn.  9 will move to bay 1, with the half bay in bay 2 available to get a start on loco 11’s frame, as well as permit the loco 10 project to spread out a little.

Once box 56 is done, 10 will likely move there- giving each 10 and 11 a full bay.

Once the enginehouse is complete, 9 and the rail car will move there, permitting bay 1 to be used for Wilmer and similar projects.

At least that’s the current outlook..

Thanks
Jason

Very nice job moving the car into Bay 4.  Not a lot of headroom, which certainly reduces the amount of space that needs to be heated!  The roof looks great!
