Being retired, I have lots of time to read; so I just re-read the whole Coack #9 work list. The interior decoration of Coack #9 takes my breath away! I was expecting a canvas ceiling like many of the other Jackson & Sharp built cars in other museums have. The decorated plywood is flat out standing! Thank you to all of the people who are making that coach a true work of art! I can not wait to see the oil lamps go in there!

Here is a look at recent work.
The painter was in bay 4 applying the gold leaf so I went and took some pictures of his work. He is definately the right guy for the job. I am sure the photos will not show the beauty of this.

Since we are building new passenger car trucks for #9, and I know we have other passenger equipment operating on freight trucks, has there been thought/planning to build more pax trucks for those cars?
