Coach 8 - Official Work Thread

<< < (2/23) > >>

Mike Fox:
I took this on the 3rd of February

Bill Baskerville:
Mike,

What did the other side look like?  My understanding was that the South side of 8 was going to receive a door.  If Randy is only doing the North side, perhaps the plan is to turn Coach 8.

Is that water damage stain just under the roof?

Bill

Bill Baskerville:
Mike,

Also, how do you post a picture the size that you posted within your reply?  When I us the "additional Options and attach a file it puts it under my text and I can only use a very small picture.

Bill

Mike Fox:
Bill, I use a photo host website.

The south west side is the only side Randy has worked on so far. The plan is to turn the car so the door will be on the North East side.

Bill Baskerville:
Mike,

Thanks, that makes sense.  That way the Baggage (Handicapped) Door will be where the freight shed is widest which is where folks in wheelchairs tend to congregate.  It is also nearest to where the ramp is stored in Fred's Office.  It is nice to know that someone up there is always thinking things through.

I think the eventual plan is to put the second door on the other side at a later time, yet before the Saw-Shingle Mill siding facilities are completed so those who need special assistance can get off there on the West side to view our activities.

Bill
