Point Pleasant NJ Beach Train

I heard about a 2-foot train that used to run on a New Jersey beach. I didn't see any reference to it in "US Two Footers" and thought it might be of interest to the forum members.

I remember it as a kid. Shame that it's now lost forever.

It was strictly an amusement park type train. I think it was made by NAD (National Amusement Devices)

Something very much like the train in the photo was in a scrapyard in Berkeley Township, NJ until fairly recently when the scrapyard changed hands and much of the existing stock was carted off.

That little train is still floating around.
I know the guy that owns it so if you want send me an email to mail@ucsvroute.com and I can put you in touch.

Do you know his plans for the train? And how many engines/cars does he have?
