Sunday Track Work
« on: October 13, 2016, 04:51:26 PM »
I had some discussions with a number of guys during the work weekend about track work.  The main line needs maintenance and since it is difficult to do much on Saturdays when trains are running I was thinking about having a Sunday Track Work day if enough crew can show up.  I know there are family and other considerations but I thought I would at least put the idea out there and see what kind of response I get.

I may be available at the last minute, and we have a new volunteer from Bath I can ask once you have a date in mind.

Keep in mind, we are now in the "Shoulder season". First train on Saturday is 11. May be able to get some done then too. But a Sunday or 2 in November is ok with me.

Come November there will be no trains on Saturdays as well.

I'll attend if there's no family or work plans.  Right now most Sundays are open for me.

What–me worry?

I can come up and help as well. Most sundays are open for me.

I can do Sundays but would need a week or two warning.

I'm available most Sundays as long as I know a few days beforehand that a work session is planed.

OK then, since we have enough interest I'll think about a date and let everyone know well in advance.  Thank you all!
